FAQs

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM NIGHT STAY?

We have a 2-night minimum stay during the week and a 3-night minimum over the weekends.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

At Cove Valley, we want to ensure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Our cabins are fully equipped with all the amenities to make you feel at home, including comfortable bedding, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom. You can also enjoy the stunning surrounding views from your cabin’s windows.

We also provide welcome treats in each cabin, filled with essential items to help you settle in and feel at home, this typically includes fresh bread, butter, and milk and other essentials to help you start your stay. We understand that you may arrive late at night or after a long journey, so we want to ensure you have some basic provisions to help you get settled in.

WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN/ CHECK-OUT?

Check-in is after 3.30 p.m., and check-out is before 10.30 a.m. When booking, we will need to know your check-in time so we can organise our site manager to drive you to the cabins.

CAN I DRIVE RIGHT UP TO THE CABIN?

We recently added a track to our site, so parking is now allocated 250m or less from each of the cabins. Please drive slowly to avoid disturbing the wildlife and take care.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?

I’m afraid we do not allow pets in our cabins as we are located on a rewilding project.

AND MY KIDS?

Sadly, we cannot accommodate children under 12 years of age for health and safety reasons.  The cabins have room for a travel cot. We recommend Hopi if you are bringing a child as it is across one level.

DO THE CABINS HAVE ELECTRICITY AND WIFI?

Yes, the cabins have electricity and WIFI, but please be mindful and always turn the lights off.

DO I NEED A CAR TO GET THERE?

Cars are the easiest mode of transport, but Tiverton Parkway is the nearest train station. We can recommend taxi firms for the short drive up to Cove Valley. Tiverton has regular trains to Bristol and London Paddington.
