COVE VALLEY

Welcome to Cove Valley, a breathtaking rewilding project located in the heart of the Exe Valley, on the edge of Exmoor National Park. Our mission is straightforward: to restore nature and its inhabitants. We believe in the power of nature, and we have expanded our reserve to 300 acres to allow it to thrive through rewilding. Eliminating agricultural management allows for natural processes to flourish, resulting in the return of diverse species, flora, and ecosystems.

Our rewilding project covers 300 acres of land and is a collaborative effort between three neighbouring landowners in Cove, Devon. We are working together to restore the wildlife in the area through rewilding. Our vision is to create a mosaic of habitats by introducing low numbers of red deer, longhorn cattle, and iron-age pigs. Habitat restoration is also underway to develop high-quality habitats for wildlife and a retreat for people to reconnect with nature.

Stay at Cove Valley

Guests at Cove Valley can immerse themselves in nature, and experience luxurious glamping. The three bespoke cabins, designed in collaboration with HÁM Interiors, are nestled in the woods and named after Old American culture. Our accommodations offer open-plan areas, a comfortable bedroom, private wood-fired hot tubs, and outdoor cooking areas. Designed to blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings and offer stunning views of the ever-changing landscape.

Please note that the site is not suitable for children under the age of twelve. We kindly request that no pets accompany you, as we are actively engaged in the valley's restoration efforts.

Cove Valley is home to a wide range of wildlife, including pigs, longhorn cattle, and ponies. The area also boasts a diverse range of indigenous wildlife, including red deer, roe deer, foxes, badgers, owls, goshawks, beavers, hares, and over 50 species of birds. Guests are invited to explore the designated trails, which lead to strategically positioned feeding stations to attract and accommodate wild animals.

retreats at Cove Valley

Cove Valley is an ideal location for hosting retreats, offering comfortable cabins for accommodation and additional camping space. Our facilities include compost toilets and showers, and the estate provides suitable areas for outdoor activities. We also have a 6-metre yurt as a communal space for yoga sessions and ceremonies during the retreats.
